Resumen : The society is continuously changing and evolving. This study is aimed at the Educational Community broader society in general since; by addressing the challenges that education faces today, it purpose is to offer a global and systematized vision of the difficulties experienced by young people and to analyze potential innovative measures that can successfully carry out in order to improve learning / teaching processes in the near future.
The objective of this research is to analyze the difficulties faced by our young people in Upper Basic Education in the San Mateo area in order to develop their intellectual potential and improve their opportunities with the support of the school, the family, and its impact on society.
Based on this analysis, we propose feasible processes that, framed within educational, economic, and social difficulties, can improve opportunities for students starting from the educational community once they complete their school education. In this context, the interaction of the family, school, and community trilogy is essential in building the social fabric required in our country to offer better opportunities for a brighter future for our youth.
The family is essential and historically considered the niche where personality is constructed. According to Vygotsky (1979), ethical and moral values are developed, emotional bonds are established, and children acquire the ability to function socially, primarily through the example set by their family environment. We cannot expect the best results within a family whose members promote high ethical and moral values if their actions in the family and social environment contradict them.

Resumen : Basic education today faces the challenge of moving beyond the classroom and actively engaging with family and community contexts. In a world characterised by rapid change, particularly in the field of human sexuality, the holistic education of pupils requires a strategic partnership between schools, families and the community. Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), understood as a holistic process encompassing biological, psychological, social, ethical and cultural aspects, is established as a fundamental pillar for promoting the healthy development of children and adolescents, respect for human rights, risk prevention and the responsible exercise of sexuality.
By addressing the challenges currently faced by comprehensive sex education, this study aims to provide a comprehensive and systematic overview of the difficulties encountered by families, schools and the community in supporting the sexual and emotional development of children, particularly during adolescence. Furthermore, it analyses possible innovative and feasible measures that could be implemented in the short and medium term to strengthen the partnership between schools and families.
The main objective of this research is to systematise the experience of the Parents’ School held in February 2026 at the Colegio Fiscal San Mateo, which focused on human and holistic sexuality, with the aim of analysing its impact on strengthening parenting skills and proposing replicable processes that improve communication and family support on issues of sexuality. Based on this analysis, the study seeks to: to contribute to the curricular integration of the pre-professional placement for the Basic Education degree programme within the Family-Community Contexts Project, highlighting the role of the family-school-community triad in the holistic education of pupils.

Resumen : Comprehensive development during childhood and adolescence is solidified by three fundamental pillars: family, school, and society, thereby ensuring quality education. The family plays a paramount role in this triad, constituting the core of society. Schools welcome children who, over time, internalize norms grounded in moral and ethical values through their active participation in the process of becoming future citizens. It is at this stage that the Ministry of Education establishes guidelines to complement this development. Thus, the focus extends beyond mere academic performance to encompass the dynamics of the educational community itself, which receives students from diverse family backgrounds, whether stable or otherwise, where the roles played by family members are decisive in this process.

Título : Speaking Lesson Plan.
Autor : Vélez Bravo, Doménica Valeska
Resumen : This graduation project, entitled Teaching English as a Foreign Language Application Process, presents the practical application of different lesson-planning frameworks for teaching English as a foreign language. The process includes the use of FMU for language analysis, ECRIF for speaking development, PDP for teaching the receptive skills of listening and reading, and PDREE for developing writing skills. Each framework was applied through the design of lesson plans, teaching materials, and demonstration lessons intended to promote active and meaningful student participation. The project also includes reflections on lesson planning, time management, student-to-student interaction, and the teacher’s role as a facilitator of learning. The experiences gained throughout this process highlighted the importance of selecting progressive activities adapted to the learning objectives, language skills, and students’ needs. In conclusion, the application of these frameworks strengthened the pedagogical and professional competencies required for effective English language teaching.
