<description>Título : Atención de enfermería a pacientes adulto mayor con diabetes mellitus tipo II, en centro ambulatorio.
Autor : Villalva Delgado, Jeremy Agustín
Resumen : Type II diabetes mellitus represents one of the most prevalent chronic diseases in the elderly population, characterized by an alteration in glucose metabolism that leads to multiple complications and where it is not adequately controlled. My research addresses nursing care focused on older adults with this pathology called type II diabetes mellitus, highlighting the importance of a comprehensive approach that considers the physiological, psychological, and social characteristics of aging. What we do is make an intervention based on health education, glycemic monitoring, the safe administration of medications in case the patient receives insulin treatment, the promotion of self-care and the prevention of complications, through a bibliographic review where the search was obtained through 20 databases such as Scielo, Pubmed, Elsevier, WHO, MAIS, PMH, among others, where the fundamental role of nursing staff in improving the quality of life of these patients and in reducing the risks associated with the disease is highlighted, we conclude that continuous, empathetic and patient-centered nursing care contributes significantly to the effective management of type II diabetes in older adults. Keywords: diabetes, mellitus, intervention, patients, older adults.

<description>Título : Intervención de enfermería, embarazo precoz y su incidencia en la deserción estudiantil.
Autor : Vera Pacheco, Saith Fernando
Resumen : The general objective of this study is to determine nursing strategies in the management of early pregnancy and their incidence in student dropout. The methodology used included a systematic review of the literature through databases such as Scielo, Redalyc, PubMed, and ScienceDirect, selecting 21 studies published between 2019 and 2024. The PRISMA protocol was applied to ensure the quality and relevance of the studies. The main results indicate that comprehensive sex education programs and emotional support are essential to reduce adolescent pregnancy and school dropout rates. Educational programs provide adolescents with accurate information and practical skills that support informed decision-making; Meanwhile, the emotional support provided by family, peers, friends, and staff within their school environment creates a more stable and empathetic environment that decreases the likelihood of dropping out of school no matter their situation. The prevalence of adolescent pregnancy varies according to the geographical context, being highest in Pakistan at 42.5%. As part of the study, an educational proposal was designed aimed at strengthening prenatal control, access to social services, and educational continuity in pregnant adolescents. Conclusion: Implementing comprehensive sex education programs and strengthening emotional and social support systems are effective nursing strategies to reduce early pregnancy and student dropout. These interventions must be culturally sensitive and tailored to the specific needs of the adolescent population to improve health and educational outcomes.

Results: The results of the assessment of the current situation of community-acquired pneumonia have shown higher rates in developing countries compared to developed ones. In Ecuador, in 2021, 73,494 cases of pneumonia were reported nationwide, and for 2022, more than 6,574 cases of this pathology were reported, according to the National Directorate of Epidemiological Surveillance of Ecuador. This allows us to offer a comprehensive view that provides a solid and well-founded assessment of the reality of this disease in the childhood context.

Inclusion criteria included: full-text articles, in Spanish and English, and articles from the last 8 years. Results: From the sample of 21 selected studies, the following sources were identified: Google Scholar (7 articles), Medigraphic (2 articles), Scielo (5 articles), Pubmed (3 articles), Dialnet (1 article), Elsevier (2 articles), and Redalyc (1 article). Conclusion: The quality of nursing care depends on several key factors, including professional training, work environment, and workload, negatively affecting professionals' performance. The implementation of protocols and ongoing training are key to improving and providing quality services; therefore, a strategic guide focused on strengthening these areas is proposed.
