| Abstract: | Learning a foreign language transcends the mere memorization of grammar rules and vocabulary; it becomes a window that allows individuals to genuinely connect with the world. In the field of English language teaching, education must go beyond rote repetition to foster true communicative competence and authentic interaction. Therefore, this research arises from the purpose of guiding students through this acquisition process in a comprehensive manner, understanding that language is a tool for human connection. To achieve this, it is essential to cultivate a balanced and equitable development of the four fundamental communication skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. To address the need for this balanced linguistic development, contemporary pedagogy requires frameworks that place the student at the center of the educational experience. It is within this context that this document analyzes three distinct but highly complementary pedagogical approaches designed to structure effective language classrooms. These methodologies provide teachers with clear pathways to transform theoretical objectives into practical, interactive, and manageable classroom strategies, ensuring that every linguistic skill is addressed with the proper pedagogical scaffolding. Specifically, this study examines how each framework targets a particular dimension of communication. First, the ECRIF model (Encounter, Clarify, Remember, Internalize, Fluently Use) is analyzed as a structured pathway that builds learners' confidence and enhances oral expression through progressive stages of internalizing language. Second, the PDP framework (Pre, During, Post) is explored as an engaging methodology that solidifies both listening and reading comprehension by guiding students through the interpretation of messages. Finally, the PDREE strategy (Preparation, Drafting, Revising, Editing, Extension) is presented as a methodical support system that systematically guides students through the complexities of written production. |
