| Abstract: | Teaching English as a Foreign Language requires future teachers to develop not only theoretical knowledge but also the practical ability to apply effective teaching methodologies in authentic educational contexts. Therefore, this TEFL Application Process presents the design, implementation, and analysis of different lesson plans and demonstrative lessons based on internationally recognized teaching approaches, allowing pre-service teachers to strengthen their professional competencies through classroom practice. The first component of this work focuses on the design of methodological frameworks such as FMU, ECRIF, PDP, and PDREE. Each methodology was implemented according to the language skill or language component being taught, including grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing. This process enabled the development of lesson plans that promoted communicative learning, active participation, and meaningful classroom interaction. The second component emphasizes the implementation of demonstrative lessons with lower-level university students. These teaching experiences allowed theoretical concepts to be transferred into real educational settings while promoting classroom management, lesson planning, instructional decision-making, and the adaptation of activities according to students' learning needs. Reflective journals were also developed after each lesson to analyze strengths, challenges, and opportunities for professional improvement. Finally, this work highlights the importance of reflective teaching as an essential element in teacher education. Through the continuous analysis of each teaching experience, it was possible to identify how active methodologies contribute to student engagement, communicative competence, and meaningful learning while simultaneously strengthening the pedagogical competencies required for future English language teachers. |
