| Abstract: | The present research set out to analyze the situation that the Jama canton is experiencing, as a result of the trend of multimedia communication and the existing gaps in an eminently rural population, in 2020, the year of the Covid 19 pandemic, which put I reveal these two phenomena in parallel. In order to be able to analyze quantitatively and qualitatively, the inhabitants were consulted, the aspects that determine the digital divide. |
| Description: | La presente investigación, se propuso analizar la situación que vive el cantón Jama, a raíz de la tendencia de la comunicación multimedia y las brechas existentes en una población eminentemente rural, en el año 2020, año de la pandemia de la Covid 19, que puso de manifiesto estos dos fenómenos de forma paralela. Para poder analizar cuantitativa y cualitativamente, se consultó a los habitantes, los aspectos que determinan la brecha digital. |
