La convergencia digital y las audiencias: Un desafío de los medios de comunicación tradicionales.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the objective of analyzing the challenges faced by traditional communication media in the face of digital convergence, it also shows the definitions and applications of the new scenario and the position of the audiences, caught between loyalty to the usual and the expectation of this new communication model. Based on the antecedents, a descriptive analysis is made in the city of Chone, of the transition that the media ecosystem is making from the industrial era to the digital era, and of the necessary redefinition of the relationship between media, content, and media hearings.
