La gastronomía ancestral y su influencia en el turismo cultural del cantón Santa Ana, provincia de Manabí.

Abstract

Gastronomy is an activity that occupies various cultural appreciations, specifically around cooking and the preparation of food, such as the selection of ingredients to prepare traditional dishes. This work contributes to studying the influence of ancestral gastronomy on cultural tourism in the Santa Ana canton. The research was qualitative, the following methods were used: scientific, deductive, analytical, inductive and literature review. Among the techniques, the cause and effect diagram and a survey were applied to collect the necessary data to meet the objectives set. The results show that the gastronomy of the canton is very rich in many areas, whether social and cultural, therefore, its influence on tourism is significant, especially because it represents an important source of tourist attraction and economic income, not only for the canton but for the entire province of Manabí, and that wealth Gastronomic that offers is wide.
