Reactivación turística de la zona rural del cantón Quinindé, provincia de Esmeraldas.

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to promote and make possible the reactivation of tourism in the "Y de la Laguna" area in the rural zone of the Quinindé canton, province of Esmeraldas, through the design of a tourist route. In order to promote a coherent development of the project, several conceptualizations taken from reliable bibliographic sources within the tourism field were established, as well as the appropriate application of techniques and instruments for research and information gathering. In addition, specific objectives focused on the project were established, by means of which a non-experimental type of research was determined, with a mixed methodology, which made it possible to determine that there is a high lack of knowledge of the sector, but at the same time, a great deal of expectation to visit the destination. It was also detected an important need for strengthening in the areas of tourist service, marketing, resource management and languages within the community. Once the study was completed, it was concluded that the site has tourist resources that enable the development of tourism activities, as well as the support of its inhabitants and has a high acceptance by the target audience, consisting mainly of inhabitants of the city of Manta, however, it is necessary to implement a route that facilitates tourists to enter and tour the destination, as well as a strategic plan to prepare the community in the field of tourism.
