Abstract

This titling project was developed with the objective of developing a web application for academic and administrative management in the "Unidad Educativa Particular Americana" of the canton of El Carmen, as a control tool for its internal activities, such as the registration of tuition and monthly payments. Therefore, various studies and investigations were carried out that would allow us to efficiently develop an automated application for said task. During the investigation, the analytical method was developed to determine the problems experienced by the educational unit during the enrollment and monthly payment phase, in addition to this, research instruments such as interviews and surveys were used that will provide us with more detailed nformation regarding the management administration of the institution. To obtain this information, the interview was applied to the administrative staff of the institution and a group of parents was found in order to ensure more detailed information which helped to determine fundamental aspects to solve the deficient management of processes and academic administration. Due to the existing problems, a computer system based on a web application developed through the cascade methodology was presented, which allows the administrative staff of the educational institution to carry out a correct control of enrollments and monthly payments, and in this way improve the processes.
