Diseño de red MAN para la Interconectividad en la Granja de la “Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí Extensión en el Carmen”.

Abstract

The Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí University Extension in El Carmen (the farm) is an institution of higher education that has an infrastructure of local network with Internet connection shared with the main office located in Manta, this service has been presenting connectivity problems due to the constant slowness and lack of coverage in different open or closed areas. ULEAM currently has a large number of students and teachers who frequent the establishment and connect to the network in order to access their virtual classroom and thus be able to deliver the investigative work and autonomous tasks entrusted by teachers, which is why they have a deficient connectivity that does not allow optimal development in the teaching process and learning. The objective of this degree work is to design a MAN network with the James McCABE methodology, to satisfy the degree of affectation suffered by students and teachers by not having a network in good condition that gives them the facility to communicate and learn through network services on the experimental farm Therefore, this research is based on the need to have a sector education with full coverage of the MAN network, which will ensure that They can have a good connection in the network and thus fulfill their tasks respective entrusted. To this en, a survey will be carried out students and teachers, followed by a checklist for the compilation of data to help determine the problem. For the correct development of the proposal, the James methodology was used. McCABE because it is specifically focused on the area of ​​networks and carries with it a series of steps that helped determine the status of the current situation with the application of an on-site verification sheet, likewise the necessary requirements for the realization of the new design were analyzed logical and physical network.
