Aplicación móvil para ciencias naturales aplicado en la enseñanza a estudiantes de bachillerato en “Unidad Educativa 5 de junio” del cantón El Carmen.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an application that facilitates the study and learning of the second year students of high school A and B, this is due to the lack of interest of the students to learn with traditional methodologies the subject of natural sciences, this being one of the 4 axes fundamental in education, for this reason the need to develop a mobile application has been seen and in this way improve teaching. For the elaboration of this present work, information was collected from bibliographic sources which helped us to build theories about the applications and topics related to natural sciences. The analytical, synthetic and descriptive method was applied to be able to analyze the information from another perspective. The survey was applied to a sample of 60 high school students, while the interview was carried out with the teacher who teaches the natural sciences subject. This was carried out in the 2021-2 academic period, in order to obtain information with real data. Data security techniques such as cold data testing, real data testing, and data validation were also used. As a result of this research project, a mobile application designed under the model-viewcontroller software architecture methodology will be presented, this app facilitates the teaching-learning of students, with topics related to the subject of natural sciences, videos and images, the student can be evaluated and their respective note downloaded, thus making learning more meaningful.
