Abstract: The present research was established to evaluate the reuse of different litter substrates in broiler production of the Cobb 500 line on productive and sanitary aspects. For this purpose, 100 experimental units were evaluated with a completely randomized design with four treatments (rice husk, sand plus shavings, wood shavings and husk plus shavings), taking into account the measurement of weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion, mortality, percentage of affectation in legs and breast and cost-benefit ratio. The design used was a completely randomized design with Tukey significance test at 5%, the treatments were T1 (rice husk), T2 (sand plus shavings), T3 (wood shavings), T2 (husk plus shavings). The results show that by reusing the litter, there is significance in the variable weight gain in Broiler chickens due to the effect of reusing the litter, being T2 (Sand plus wood shavings) the best with 2,343 grams, and a feed conversion of 1.71. In addition, it was determined that the sand litter presented better conditions for broiler rearing. Finally, it was established that the best cost-benefit ratio was T2 (sand chips). Therefore, by reusing the litter, it helps to increase the weight, generating greater economic income for the producers, establishing itself as a resilient and economically viable production alternative.
