Abstract: | The research was carried out in the parish of San Jacinto, province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, and the agronomic performance of coriander (Eryngium foetidum) was analyzed with different doses of biocompost; for which a Complete Randomized Design (C.R.D.) was established, with three treatments plus a control; composed of 4 repetitions. The variables evaluated were plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf length, aerial part weight, stem weight, stem-leaf ratio, yield and economic analysis. A positive effect was established in the application of different doses of Biocompost being the best treatment T3 (40 g pl-1) for stem height (2.53 and 13.93 cm), stem diameter (4.87 and 6.60 mm), number of leaves (2.47 and 14.13 leaves) at 30 and 60 days after planting, green matter weight (12.56 g), yield (3140.31 ton/ha-1). The economic analysis of the evaluated treatments showed that the treatment with the highest net income was T3 (40 g pl-1) with $ 11,305 121.43 USD, it can be seen that the non-dominated treatments T1 (Control) and T4 (Biocompost) are considered economically more profitable, since they have a lower varying cost and higher net benefit. |
