Abstract: The present investigation was carried out at the Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí University, El Carmen Extension in the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, with the purpose of solving the deficiencies of protein sources in the productivity and profitability of minor ruminants, with a stated objective of identifying the forage (Tithonia diversifolia), (Canavalia ensiformis), (Cajanus cajan) that greater nutritional contribution present in the production of goats as a protein bank. Twelve protein banks were established with 3 forage plants distributed in a Completely Random Block Design (DBCA) with 3 treatments and 4 repetitions, where the dependent and independent variables were subjected to a statistical analysis with the InfoStat program with Duncan's test ( p<0.05) in forage production (g/m2) T1 buttercup with 196.9 shares significance with T2 cow bean and T3 stick bean however the highest mean is obtained by T2 with 291.19 in bromatological quality (crude protein, crude fiber, ethereal extract, Nitrogen-free Extract, Ash) the highest averages are obtained by T2 cow beans, there is only a significant difference in ash, the % of protein there are no significant differences between the treatments but the highest mean is for T1 Buttercup. Among the three forages, the buttercup is postulated as the best option for reporting the upper average in protein percentage and having the significant difference in the fiber variable.
