Abstract

The Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí Extension Chone currently has a web application for the admission process of graduate students; however, there are drawbacks such as difficulties in accessing information, little flexibility in the issuance of reports, among others. The objective of this Integrator Project was to develop a web application for the admission process of graduate students at the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí Extension Chone, to meet this objective it was necessary to conduct a survey of requirements through the analysis of the current web application and an interview with the administrative staff, then the following tools were used: Power Designer allowed the conceptual and physical modeling, PhpMyAdmin and Visual Studio Code that facilitated the connection between the database and the web application, these tools allowed the development of a stable platform that incorporates improvements in relation to the current web application.
