Abstract: This research was carried out at the Center for Management, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer "Finca Tigrillo" of the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí Extension Chone, proposing to evaluate two feed formulas with different levels of protein in broiler chickens in the development stage. 105 chickens of 15 days of age were used, which were housed in two treatments and a control group of 35 for each group, the data collection was carried out daily in grams, from the day of arrival (the third week), until the 28th (fourth week). The variables and methods of evaluation were daily weight gain, feed conversion and mortality percentage. For the daily weight gain, of the control group fed with commercial balanced feed and group A-B, fed with soybeans of different protein levels, the greatest response was for the control with (2098.897grams/day), while the shoots fed with soybean and other inputs, obtained a not very noticeable weight gain. For the mortality parameter, negative results were obtained in the three treatments. The group with a higher percentage of mortality was the soybean treatment 44%, occupying (8.7%). It is concluded that chickens fed with commercial feed presented better productive parameters than those fed with different protein levels.
