Caracterización de unidades de producción agropecuaria de la Parroquia Canuto del Cantón Chone.

Abstract

The present research project had the purpose of characterizing the agricultural production units of the Canuto del Canton Chone Parish, for which the methodology was carried out with the help of the review of bibliographic sources with the objective of carrying out the research variables, the methods applied were exploratory, analytical and deductive; In addition, survey and interview techniques were carried out that allowed the collection and tabulation of test data, in order to know the results, which determined that 86% of the activity carried out by families is agricultural, in addition, 60% use chemical products. Which are harmful to the environment and human health. 90% of this activity is of a family type, where 10% does have external labor per person, on the other hand it has land and marketing problems; the lack of knowledge of parts of the families make them carry out bad practices, therefore it is attributed that it would be useful and necessary to promote rural extension to improve the productive characteristics of the farmers of the Canuto parish of the Chone canton.
