Abstract: Educational institutions have the need to use different platforms and virtual educational software that promote the teaching-learning of their students, since at present virtual resources have not been well used by teachers, which has caused disinterest and demotivation in students. especially in the subject of mathematics. That is why this research aims to optimize the use of GeoGebra as a didactic resource in the teaching-learning process of mathematics in high school students of the Cinco de Mayo Educational Unit of the City of Chone. In this sense, all the theoretical fields have been supported by methods and study techniques, in which the problems related to virtual learning environments in the area of mathematics have been discovered. Therefore, the GeoGebra platform is used as educational learning software to solve problems with the lack of use of technology. working with a small population of students, same that a survey was applied where the results ratify the lack of motivation in the students, do not use the educational software GeoGebra as a didactive resourse for the learning of mathematic, a survey was applied whose results ratify their lack of motivation ; It is important to highlight the socialization in technological fields such as the educational software GeoGebra as a didactic resource, to improve the teaching-learning process in mathematics so that the teaching-learning process improves in the students of the third year of high school, and in this way it is not the subject of mathematics is affected.
Description: Las instituciones educativas tienen la necesidad de usar diferentes plataformas y software educativos virtuales que propicien la enseñanza aprendizaje de sus estudiantes, ya que en la actualidad los recursos virtuales no han sido bien usados por los docentes lo cual ha provocado un desinterés y desmotivación en los estudiantes en especial en la asignatura de matemática.
