Higiene bucodental en los alumnos de octavo semestre de la carrera tecnología de la información de la Uleam extensión Chone en el periodo abril a julio del 2022

Abstract

The Knowledge about oral health is a fundamental determinant of maintaining good oral hygiene, thus avoiding future problems of gingivitis, periodontitis, caries, halitosis, etc. This research was carried out with the purpose of demonstrating the importance that the student gives to his oral health, was carried out in the faculty of Dentistry of the Lay University “Eloy Alfaro” of Manabí, in the students of 8th level in the period from April to July 2022 (1) by applying a survey and a diagnostic test. This research concludes that most of the interviewees have good dental hygiene, but they should take a survey of the preventive issue and visit the dentist at least 2 times a year and not in case of pain as some of the interviewees stated through the survey.
