Abstract: The objective of this research work is to analyze information and communication technologies in the teaching of mathematics in Higher General Basic Education to students of the Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional Cinco De Mayo of the Chone canton. The strategies of implementation of tools during the educational process to students play a fundamental role, where the teacher provides resources that help to improve the understanding of topics to obtain significant learning. The research work has a quantitative-qualitative approach. The instruments used were an observation form, surveys, and interviews, based on the objectives to be achieved. The population is composed of students in the eighth, ninth and tenth years of higher General Basic Education and teachers in mathematics of the "Cinco de Mayo" Fiscomisional Educational Unit of the Chone canton during the year 2022. The results obtained through the instruments applied indicate that ICT in the teaching of mathematics in the Higher General Basic Education at the Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional Cinco De Mayo in Chone, but not to a great extent, since not all the existing resources in the classroom are in good condition and the computers that the institution has are used for computer and English classes, where the schedule does not allow the availability of this.
Description: El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como objetivo analizar tecnologías de la información y comunicación en la enseñanza de las matemáticas en la Educación General Básica Superior a estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional Cinco De Mayo del cantón Chone. Las estrategias de implementación de Herramientas durante el proceso educativo a los alumnos juegan un papel fundamental, donde el docente facilita recursos que ayudan a mejorar la comprensión de temas para la obtención de aprendizajes significativos.
