In this way we have that the objective of this research project is to verify the influence that saliva presents in oral health and in oral pathologies through an analytical bibliographic review, with bibliographic or documentary design, cross-sectional type of design. which collect the information in a set time. Saliva plays a fundamental role in the oral cavity, which, according to its quantity and quality, promotes proper functioning and preservation of the structures found in the oral environment. The methods and techniques used for this project are the collection of data from journals and scientific articles published and supported on pages such as SCielo, PUBMED, Redalyc, the Cochare plus library, VHL regional portal; Once the results have been analyzed, they will be presented in the conclusions based on the objectives set.
