Propuesta de implementación de sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional en matriz y extensiones de la Uleam con base a requisitos legales en el Ecuador.

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to determine the factors that affect the design and development of the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, based on the legal regulations applicable in Ecuador, taking as a case study the Universidad Laica "Eloy Alfaro" of Manabí in its matrix and extensions. This year, the Universidad Laica "Eloy Alfaro" of Manabí does not have an OHS Management System; therefore, the "Proposal for the Implementation of OHS Management in the ULEAM (headquarters and extensions) based on legal requirements in Ecuador" will be carried out. Therefore, an Internal Regulation of Occupational Safety and Hygiene was elaborated defining the OSH policy, the update of the Self-Protection Plans of each building, the elaboration of a corrective action plan, risk identification, preventive measures and continuous evaluation of OSH control. The top management of the Universidad Laica "Eloy Alfaro" of Manabi must manage human and economic resources to meet the objectives; there must be competence and commitment to the safety and health of servers and workers of the institution and implement the Management of Safety and Health at Work.
