Abstract

This research work is based on digital tools in the management of information in the archive area of the Directorate of the General Secretariat of the Uleam, generating as a consequence little knowledge to the employees about the necessary skills to carry out an effective management of the documents, scarcity in the definition of the guidelines to properly treat them, lack of organization of the documentary funds of the central archive and deficit in the processes of the document management system. Therefore, this research project is focused on the institutional context, with the main objective of characterizing from the theory the articulation of information in standardized processes for the development of document management that affects document management in the archive area of the Directorate of General Secretariat. This investigative study is established in the review of different sources of information, the same ones that are presented in the content. The research starts from a descriptive approach so that it specifies the most relevant aspects, as well as the method of analysis developed from the research to learn from the conceptualizations of various documents. The interview oriented to the direct official of the Directorate of the General Secretariat of Uleam and officials responsible for the archive area is evidenced: The archive coordinator, the assistant and the analyst, obtained through the survey and allowing the improvement of the processes running efficiently.
