Fortalecimiento del ciinfotur y su impacto económico en el sector turístico de la parroquia manta 2022.

Abstract

The Tourist Information Centers are in charge of providing information on tourist service providers, attractions, opening hours, routes, safety suggestions and other aspects related to the destination. Normally these offices are located in places such as airports, terminals, chamber of commerce, seaports, among others. The current research project consists of analyzing the current state of Ciinfotur and determining its economic impact on the tourism sector of the Manta parish. Regarding the applied methodology, a 11-question questionnaire is designed, which is applied to the population that attends this establishment. In total, 180 responses are compiled, among the results it is obtained that Ciinfotur lacks technological infrastructure and neither does the staff have the knowledge and skills to provide an excellent service to tourists and visitors who come to the establishment in search of information. For this reason, it is necessary to allocate financial resources to strengthen these weaknesses and thus achieve the expected results. At the end of the investigation, an action plan is proposed whose premise is to contribute to the strengthening of Ciinfotur and in turn contribute to the tourist development of the Manta canton. Likewise, those in charge of tourism management in this town are oriented to work in an articulated manner with this establishment, establish an alliance and from there create a training plan that includes various areas, in this way it will also be possible to generate new skills in employees and strengthen their shortcomings.
