Gestión de la calidad para la obtención de certificaciones de bioseguridad, en las agencias de viajes del cantón manta, 2021.

Abstract

Quality management is a determining factor in the growth of companies, in this case study its implementation in travel agencies is analyzed, these belonging to the service sector must be coupled to the needs of customers. In reference to biosafety certifications, these became relevant from the emergency situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the above, the current research arises based on analyzing the quality management in biosafety certifications in the travel agencies of the Manta canton during the period 2021. The methodological design of the research is exploratory, the analytical method is used- synthetic. The survey and interview are also used as techniques. The questionnaire is used as an instrument and the validity of the instrument and the sampling are considered for greater accuracy of the data. A total of 196 surveys were collected, the results reveal that the travel agencies of the Manta canton that were visited by the respondents did consider the application of health regulations and protocols as part of their post-COVID-19 pandemic activities. At the end, a proposal outline is prepared on certain guidelines that help the correct application of the protocols and thus obtain a biosafety certification in the canton's travel agencies. This matrix can be analyzed and polished by the Ministry of Tourism, giving a better focus to the activities.
