Abstract

The objective of this research project is to design a model inventory control that allows the entrepreneurs who make up the CDC of the “Eloy Alfaro” parish reduce costs and improve profitability. During the investigation process, the main problem was the lack of registration of their inventories, which causes them to have numerous products in existence, in the same way missing products, in turn in the entrepreneurs There is inadequate cost control due to lack of knowledge, so the sales value to the customer only do so with estimates, which is a factor negative since it significantly affects the profitability of their ventures. To develop the research, the qualitative approach was applied, as well various methods and techniques, which were important for solving the problem; The methods used were inductive and field, as well as the survey of information through the interview technique, which allows us to know the current situation in which the activities of each entrepreneur are found. By Therefore, the proposal is focused on an inventory control model, aimed at being a guide in each of its activities in order to reduce the costs and thereby improve profitability.
