Propuesta de espacio público de recreación para el barrio 24 de mayo sector la época de la ciudad de Manta.

Abstract

The lack of public spaces for recreation in popular neighborhoods of the city of Manta, are very evident, among them we have the neighborhood 24 de Mayo "La Época". The present investigation is part of the inappropriate use of public spaces for pedestrian and vehicular circulation within the neighborhood, for various recreational activities, hindering residents from moving from one end to the other. The main objective of the research work is the diagnosis of the recreational activities carried out by the residents of the sector, in order to design a recreational public space to improve the quality of life of the residents of the neighborhood and its surroundings. Based on the collection of information, the information was collected through digital surveys, interviews with members of the neighborhood committee and residents, in order to interpret the results and verify the idea raised by the investigation. For this reason, it ends with the elaboration of an architectural draft based on the current needs obtained in the investigation.
