Abstract

The present investigation seeks to carry out an analysis and provide a project as a solution, based on the problem of the settlement in the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood, which has developed over time and is involved in a state of risk and vulnerability. Called "Precarious settlements in risk areas and mitigation proposal in the Eloy Alfaro parish", generating a paradigm between land use, construction and inhabitants, this encompasses the situation of precariousness and informality, since the situation of experience has consolidated near the perimeter, where there is a channel and a ravine is established, evidencing landslides, construction material and waste, and likewise demonstrating the deterioration of urban space and quality of life. Carrying out the respective visit to "Campo", by hand of interviews, surveys, photographs and municipal plan, among others. Supporting us with information from the municipality of the Manta canton, being able to obtain quantitative and qualitative data, for the study of a new settlement and mitigation of the area at risk. Defining a proposal of need for the inhabitants and for the environment, directing a relocation with lots that maintain a regular plot of blocks, thus achieving an optimal space for the residents who are in a risk area, and in turn recovering the urban green space.
