Abstract: The Jaramijó canton has about 723 older adults, of which 118 are people with disabilities, a percentage equivalent to 21.69% of the disabled population of this town and adults aged 35 to 64 years are 4,339 of which 216 have disabilities. The proposal, planning and future formation of an Integral Attention Center for adults from 35 years of age in the Jaramijó canton, is a very important approach as a solution to different problems that this age group lives day by day. In the world, there is a current problem that affects the social group of adults. Degenerative diseases, which in many cases are linked to lifestyle, can lead to loss of independence, years of disability and even death, and represent a heavy financial burden for health services. It is necessary to clarify the orientation of this project is towards different objectives, such as making a proposal for an Integral Care Center for adults and the elderly in the canton Jaramijó, evaluate the different needs of this population, establish an infrastructure planning that meets the requirements for the welfare of adults and that the development of this project is focused primarily on prevention, rehabilitation of diseases and active aging.
Description: El cantón Jaramijó, cuenta con alrededor de 723 adultos mayores, de los cuales 118 son personas que presentan alguna discapacidad, un porcentaje que equivale al 21,69% de la población discapacitada de esta localidad y los adultos de 35 a 64 años son 4.339 de los cuales 216 poseen invalidez. La propuesta, planeación y formación a futuro de un Centro de Atención Integral para adultos a partir de los 35 años en el cantón Jaramijó, es un planteamiento de mucha importancia como muestra de solución a diferentes problemáticas por las que viven día a día este grupo etario.
