Estudio del espacio público del centro de Manta y su función frente a la pandemia covid-19 y propuesta de mejoramiento.

Abstract

The following investigation seeks to collect information in order to know the current state of public space in the central part of Manta; a field analysis will be carried out in order to study the conditions and characteristics of the sector to be studied. From our analysis we will seek to synthesize the problems that we find on the site and their characteristics, which are developed according to particularities and factors that influence the spread of the Covid-19 virus, in this way we find in this titling work a substantiated compilation of the space-place of the center, a diagnosis for a proposal giving a possible urban solution to respond to this need for space and its characteristics. The development of the titling work systematically details the phase process such as the diagnosis and the proposal, in this we will be in charge of detailing the areas that will be improved in the design, the areas destined to a better functionality, and implement a mobility objective, it will be proposed how the function of public space can be improved in order to give an approach to the reality of the current state of public space. The intervention will be based on a regeneration of public spaces with an emphasis on accessibility and mobility.
