Abstract: The production of beef and its supply to the population has become a challenge for producers. Hence the importance of increasing the productivity of the animals, which in turn depends on the productivity of the pastures. The search for alternatives to mitigate this deficit can be found in supplementation. Poultry manure is presented as a source of non-protein nitrogen in cattle feed. The investigation began in the facilities of the Río Suma Experimental Farm, "Eloy Alfaro" Lay University of Manabí, extension in El Carmen. A completely randomized design (D.C.A.) was established, with four treatments and four repetitions. The treatments were different doses of poultry manure as a feed supplement in fattening bulls. This work aims to evaluate the effect of pollination as non-protein nitrogen on weight gain in fattening bulls. The animals were supplemented with 0,5; 1,0 and 1,5 kg of poultry manure, the nutritional value of the poultry manure, the weight gain and the cost-benefit ratio will be prolonged. The weight gain was better when the bulls with 1,5 kg of poultry manure were supplemented with 31,97 kg in a period of 60 days, being statistically superior to the other treatments evaluated. The cost-benefit ratio was higher in the treatment where 1,5 kg of poultry manure was supplied with a value of 1,14.
