Abstract: The investigative work consisted of two phases, the first, in the field, was developed in the San Guido farm, Silenció Chico sector, belonging to the Unión Parish belonging to the Quinindé canton, Esmeraldas Province. A randomized block design (DBCA) was applied, represented with 6 treatments and 3 repetitions, using pollen + Ana "in controls" α-naphthaleneacetic acid in the other treatments, for the conformation and development of fruits in O x G hybrid crops. phase two was developed at the Oil Palm Research Center (ANCUPA), located at km 37 ½ via Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas - La Concordia in order to assess the results of naphthaleneacetic acid used in hybrids, evaluating the conformation of bunches, their weight, normal fruits, parthenocarpic, stenopermocarpic, aborted fruits, white fruits, rachilla numbers, the results obtained were compared using the Tukey test in the software application PSPP (Statistical Software). In conclusion, the application of α-naphthaleneacetic acid (ANA) has an influence on the conformation of the bunch, because the applications with only ANA present content of fruits that contain oil above 90%, which indicates a good formation of all the fruits that were stimulated by the growth regulator.
