Abstract: The research work was carried out in the previous of Mr. José Cevallos, located in the Mercedes sector of dirty water at km 3 of the road to Pedernales in the El Carmen Canton, with the objective of evaluating the nutritional value and aerobic stability of silage. of Mombaza grass (Panicum maximum Jacq.) fertilized with zinc, boron and magnesium chelators; a Completely Randomized Block Design (DBCA) was used, with a factorial arrangement 4*4 with 4 repetitions. Being Factor A the chelating agents (without chelating agents, zinc chelate, boron chelate and magnesium chelate) and Factor B the harvesting ages (20, 25, 30 and 35 days). In the nutritional value of Mombaza grass silage, it was observed that all the effects showed positive responses to the proposed treatments and the trend is maintained that both the regrowth age, the chelating agents and their interactions improve the biological value of this food. In the aerobic stability of Mombaza grass, both in pH and temperatures reacted positively to the variability induced in this investigation and in the same way it was demonstrated that the post-opening useful life of the silo is influenced by the cutting age, the chelating agents and their respective combinations or interactions. Based on the nutritional value of Mombaza grass silage, it is recommended to take into account the variables and treatments proposed in this research, since this will improve the biological responses of the animals that consume this food. At present, we must give due importance to aerobic stability in both pH and temperature, since they represent an important factor in supplying safe food so that animals that are fed this type of food can meet their nutritional requirements.
