Respuesta productiva en ganado lechero alimentados con el pasto marandú (b. brizantha cv marandú) y suplementación estratégica en tres edades de corte.

Abstract

The research work was carried out at the Roncón site belonging to the parish of San Pedro de Suma, Canton El Carmen, province of Manabí at the following coordinates: South Latitude: 0°13'28.966'' - West Longitude 79°29'24.069'', with the objective of evaluating the productive response of milk in cattle fed with Marandú grass (B. Brizantha cv Marandú) and strategic supplementation, at three cutting ages. Brizantha cv Marandú) and strategic supplementation, at three cutting ages; a 3 x 3 Latin square block design was used as row effect (3 cattle) and treatment 3 cutting ages, the three cutting ages evaluated and used in the trial were: 20, 25 and 30, column effect (20%, 30% and 40% supplementation), the results were evaluated in the INFOSTAT statistical program using the Tukey's test of comparison of measurement at 5%. The variables considered were: dry matter consumption, green matter consumption and milk production, where there were no significant inferences between the three cutting ages, at the level of supplementation the variable of green matter consumption and dry matter consumption did not show significance, but not in production, statistical indifferences were found in the supplementation applied.
