Abstract

The present research work was demonstrated in the El Carmen parish of the El Carmen canton of the Manabí province in the Municipal slaughterhouse with the objective of determining the gastrointestinal endoparasitic prevalence in cattle of the El Carmen canton slaughterhouse, this work of The research is an experimental study of a descriptive type, a random probabilistic study was carried out, where a sample "n" detailed below was selected: 𝑛 =z 2∗p∗q∗N𝑒 and it was evaluated from the collection of feces samples from 400 bovines from the municipal slaughter center to determine the number of samples, lpos eggs were counted 2(𝑁−1) z2∗p∗q∗ by Mac Master technique with the purpose of determine the same as in this investigative work was a total prevalence of 76.25%, the degree of infestation that was obtained in the animals approximately 2.5 to 3 years approximately sampled in the municipal slaughterhouse where a serious level or more ivo was obtained 19.75%, moderate 22.75%, mild 33.75% and negative 23.75%, it is concluded by mentioning that adequate endoparasite control monitoring should be carried out on animals entering the slaughterhouse municipality, it is recommended to take this research as a reference for later studies based on this broad and important research topic.
