Abstract

The purpose of this experimental investigation was to evaluate the productive behavior of Cuba 22 grass (Pennisetum sp) at five levels of earthworm humus leachate, in the Agrodimeza estates, located in the “Las Delicias” compound Km 26 of the road to Santo Domingo - Chone, located in the parish end canton of El Carmen in the north of the province of Manabí. A completely randomized block experimental design (DBCA) was used, with five treatments and four repetitions. The production of green matter had a positive response to the use of earthworm humus leachate at a dose of 10 Lha-1, a yield of 142.33 t ha-1 was obtained. The production of dry matter was correlated with that of green matter and presented in greater quantity (23.47 t ha-1) when the highest dose was used, the earthworm humus leachate 10 Lha-1. The dry matter content had its best result (17.34 %) with the earthworm humus leachate at a rate of 6 Lha-1.
