Abstract: An experimental trial was developed on the La Bramadora, in the El Carmen canton, Manabí province, in order to evaluate the weight increase in fattening bovines using chicken manure (non-protein nitrogen) as a food supplement, for which a completely randomized design (DCA) was established with 5 treatments comprising 4 feeding levels from 1 to 4 kg of chicken manure plus a control of 0 kg, 3 animals were used per treatments as repetitions; The determined amount of chicken manure was applied for 60 days to the animals, these are bulls in the fattening phase with an average weight of 900 kg of weight, at the end of the investigation the weight gain, feed conversion and cost-benefit ratio of the Bulls. The results found were significant (p <0,05) in all the variables under study, in the case of weight gain, the treatments with the use of chicken manure as supplements were statistically superior than the control, having an increase of 27 kg to difference of the 14,24 kg obtained by treatment 1; In feed conversion, the lower amounts of manure tend to present higher values of CA, the treatment with 1 kg per day reached rates of 0,04 kg of manure per kg of increase in weight, this same treatment presented the highest benefit ratio / cost with $ 24,14 profit.
