Influencia del microrrelieve en la dinámica poblacional del polytus meliborgii boheman en el cultivo del plátano.

Abstract

The research was carried out at the Association of Banana Trees "Las Delicias" with the objective of evaluating the influence of the micro relief in the population dynamics of the picudo (Polytus meliborgii Boheman) in the plantain crop (Musa AAB). Traps were made to which an attractant to capture individuals of this species. The experimentation period lasted 20 weeks and was carried out in a three-year-old plantation. On an area of three hectare of land, 63 sapling points were distributed homogeneously on the top, slope and valley. A single type of trap was established. geo referenced through the GPS data application, the results of the evaluation were correlated with the INAMHI data of temperature and relative humidity. It was evident that there are significant differences in the spatial distribution of the population of the species between the high and low parts within the it was also possible to establish that there is no correlation between population dynamics and variables climatic studied.
