Abstract: | Pepper cultivation is one of the many alternatives that are being presented in short- cycle production in the country's agricultural sector, which can be produced organically, without the presence of chemical products. The use of Biol is an alternative so that the farmer can work while maintaining organic production. The objective of this work was to evaluate the production of three varieties of pepper (Capsicum annuum) with the application of organic fertilizers at three doses in the canton of El Carmen-Manabí in the year 2020. Different doses of both basic Bioles (0.5 – 1 - 1.5 l) as Supermagro (10 cc –20 cc – 40 cc) in different pepper varieties (improved Martha, Cira R. and improved Tauros), arranged in a randomized complete block design with A*B factorial arrangement with 18 treatments and 3 repetitions. It was established that, if there were inferences of varieties on the agronomic behavior, being superior the var. Martha improved for the variables number of leaves (15 and 30 dds), plant height (15, 30 and 45 dds); for stem diameter (15 dds); Regarding production variables such as number of flowers and fruit, the improved Taurus variety was the best, reporting averages of 9.54 and 4.86 flowers at 15 and 60 days; in addition to the number of fruits with 7.27, 11.40 and 7.05 fruits at 30, 45 and 60 days after sowing. The financial analysis allowed to define the T14 (improved Taurus + basic Biol (1 l)) was the most profitable with a marginal rate of return of 216.70%. |
