Evaluación de diferentes niveles de gonadotropina coriónica equina (ecg) en protocolos de inseminación artificial a tiempo fijo (iatf) en vaconas mestizas.

Abstract

The investigation was carried out at the Los Zambranos farm, belonging to the Flavio Alfaro canton, Manabí, Chicken Tripa sector, Novillo parish, in a period of 75 days. The effect of four levels of eCG in fixed-time artificial insemination protocols on the reproductive response of crossbred heifers was evaluated. In this study, a completely randomized design (DCA) was used, consisting of four treatments with different levels of homone eCG (0, 200, 400 and 600 UI/ml) and five repetitions. The service rate, conception rate and pregnancy rate presented the best values when the hormone equine chorionic gonadotropin (eCG) was applied at a dose of 1 IU/ml, with a value of 1.0, 100% and 100%, respectively. The response rate to ovulation timing presented a total response in all treatments.
