Abstract: | Currently, the Ministry of Education focuses on promoting significant changes, training and training teachers in workshops or continuous training courses so that students acquire significant learning. The need for innovation in the teaching methodology in teaching has been highlighted on many occasions, since the traditional class model, where students remain seated at their desks passively listening to the lesson, is being replaced by new teaching methodologies. -learning, allowing the student to develop their skills and abilities autonomously and become actively involved in the construction of knowledge. The problematic axis of this investigative work is to evaluate the knowledge that teachers have regarding innovative teaching methodologies. Therefore, the applied methodology was a mixed, qualitative and quantitative approach, to obtain statistical data and detailed and relevant information. Regarding the research instruments, the survey and interview were applied. According to the results obtained, the importance of applying teaching methodologies in the learning process lies in the fact that the student develops new knowledge in a significant way and becomes more creative, reflective, and argumentative. This helps them to be able to solve problems. The contribution of this research is that the teacher must be a person willing to train and innovate, contribute to the change that education requires, to train people with critical-reflexive thinking, who not only know how to think, but also how to act in a situation. complex, and applying innovative teaching methodologies is aimed at achieving that. |
