Abstract: | The present investigative work has shown the problems in students with respect to reading comprehension. In this research, the analysis of multimodal texts is intended, which include images, graphics and audiovideo in learning reading comprehension. HE used qualitative research methodology. The corresponding level is explanatory. The methods used are bibliographic and analytical. The population is 324 students and the sample selected through the random stratified process is 40 students of the first year of parallel high school “F” of the 23 de Octubre Educational Unit of the Montecristi canton. The techniques to collect the information were: interviews and data sheet. observation. The instruments used were: test aimed at students to know the degree of reading comprehension they have and a questionnaire of questions aimed at teachers about the management and use of multimodal audiovisual texts. The findings found are the following: around 16 individuals, by applying the test, their level of understanding reader corresponds to lower parameters. Likewise, 14 students are in the grade of understanding called normal. Multimodal texts serve as a teaching strategy to promote reading comprehension. Well, 100% of teachers interviewed from the Unit Educativa 23 de Octubre of the Montecristi canton, stated that students will be able improve your interpretation through didactic sequences, either by drawing main ideas from a book, adapting that content to its expression and explaining it in a more subtle way. |
Description: | El presente trabajo investigativo ha evidenciado la problemática en los estudiantes con respecto a la comprensión lectora. En esta investigación, se pretende el análisis de los textos multimodales, que incluyen, imágenes, gráficos y audiovideo en el aprendizaje de la comprensión lectora. Se utilizó la metodología de investigación de tipo cualitativo. El nivel correspondiente es el explicativo. Los métodos utilizados son el bibliográfico y analítico. La población es de 324 estudiantes y la muestra seleccionada a través del proceso estratificado aleatorio es de 40 estudiantes del primer año de bachillerato paralelo “F” de la Unidad Educativa 23 de Octubre del cantón Montecristi. |
