Abstract: This research project takes place in the city of Portoviejo in the Miraflores sector of the Manabí Guillem side pass, which is an important connection point of the canton. This presents disorder in terms of its internal circulation through the vehicle use and through pedestrian streets at the same time the lack of several public spaces within its urban fabric internal. In the absence of regulations and the lack of concern of authorities, the area has not grown in the best way and this is why that the urban disorder is noticeable, and the degradation of the image urban. This is why, through this degree work, prepares a proposal for internal reform of the sector and a spatial projection of the image so as not to be in the same errors and thus apply the principles of new urbanism so that the area has an attraction, and resolve the visual impact that provokes. The investigation belongs to line #2 (ORDERING TERRITORIAL, VULNERABILITY AND RISK MANAGEMENT.) from the Faculty of Architecture of the Laica Eloy Alfaro University from Manabi.
Description: Este proyecto de investigación se da en la ciudad de Portoviejo en el sector Miraflores del paso lateral Manabí Guillem, el cual es un punto de conexión importante del cantón. Este presenta desorden en cuanto a su circulación interna por la utilización del vehículo y a través de las calles peatonales a la vez la falta de varios espacios públicos dentro de su trama urbana interna.
