Propuesta de diseño urbano arquitectónico del espacio público en el casco consolidado de la parroquia “Ángel Pedro Giler” del cantón Tosagua.

Abstract

The place where the investigation was carried out was the consolidated town of the “Angel” parish. Pedro Giler”, from the Tosagua canton, which has great tourism potential, thanks to its freshwater spa, museums, dining rooms where you can enjoy its cuisine. The study focuses on the current state of the site, referring to the progressive deterioration of the public space, due to its discontinuity, caused, a series of subproblems that affect the inhabitants of the site, they are the ones in charge of energizing these meeting points. The main objective of this research work was to develop a diagnosis of the problem through a field exploration, visiting the site and talking with the inhabitants, a list of needs is created that allows us to propose a proposal that integrates public spaces, which are abandoned due to their deterioration. The proposal consists of proposing an “Architectural urban design of public space for the “Angel Pedro Giler” parish, in the Tosagua canton, which will promote the tourism, will create places for commerce, which will help the economy of the parish, since would establish a reference landmark, of a place with cultural identity, in appropriate spaces for community development.
