Recuperación de la trama urbana y rehabilitación de un espacio público en el sector de "Los Tamarindos" de la ciudad de Portoviejo - 2019.

Abstract

Public space is at the heart of the urban, from ancient times to the present day it is the space for meeting and exchange, it enriches urban practices and encourages the participation of citizens and their interest in community issues. In the “Los Tamarindos” sector of the city of Portoviejo, the deterioration of the park is observed causing social problems that affect the community. That is why the objective of this project is "Rehabilitate the urban fabric and organize a public space in the" Los Tamarindos "sector of the city of Portoviejo."The methodology used focused on the use of quantitative and qualifying methods and observation techniques (photographs). The sampled population was made up of 305 people, data collection was done through a questionnaire, interview and / or survey to test the hypothesis. The results obtained by the tabulation of the questions showed the need for the regeneration of public space through the elaboration of an architectural and urban proposal that was carried out in this degree project. In addition, implement comprehensive and sustainable strategies for recovery and improvement of public space that integrated the community in an interdisciplinary manner.
