Propuesta de diseño arquitectónico de un museo para especies marinas en la ciudad de Manta.

Abstract

The depressive image presented by some cities in different sectors is a problem that is not usually solved quickly. The waste that occurs in some sectors rich in landscapes is not used as a touristic way, there are not projects that handle that problem turning these sectors into abandoned and often forgotten places. One sector that would generate a great tourist and also economic potential is the sector “La Poza”, which is going through the depressive problematic, in view of the fact that the authorities have left them behind, proposing only business projects without taking into account the others citizens. The sector “La Poza” is located in one of the busiest areas of the city of Manta, near to the downtown area, where the main view is the sea, found it in the whole coastline, being able to take advantage of it for an equipment open to the public and doesn’t go unnoticed. For this reason, the work was the architectural proposal of a Museum for marine species, where an appropriate diagnostic about the current situation was made, surveying 384 habitants of the city, allowing to receive ideas of projects and opinions about the sector and the proposed architectural design. In the present work legal frameworks of laws and norms applicable to the design and sector, technical aspects, technology and equipment for the correct design of work were made.
