Abstract: The present case study, called "Methodologies for the development of comprehensive language in children with visual impairment", given that language is the main source of communication with others, a person with visual deficit would present difficulty in their expressive language as understanding, For this reason, the application of different methodological strategies is put to consideration. In the first phase, the history information is collected identifying a 2-year-old patient, the main goal is to treat the language problems. Since the development of expressive and comprehensive language serves people, but children with visual impairment, they have disadvantages in relation to other children who do not have this disability. Which my goal of these therapies is to improve their language by developing an intervention plan that will allow strategies for improvement in their language. Based on the fact that visual images are a way for cognitive development in the patient's language, it is necessary to be aware that in the context of this work I am deploying it in the language therapy area of the Augusto Egas health center in the city of Sto. Domingo, with the reynell-zinkin scale, assessed the areas of motor, cognitive, social, affective and language development. Obtaining a result of language delay more comprehensive than expressive, after determining the lack in the acquisition of skills, we proceed to develop learning methodologies such as sensoperceptive discrimination, music therapy and onomatopoeic sounds.
Description: El presente estudio de caso, denominado Metodologías para el desarrollo del lenguaje comprensivo en niño con discapacidad visual , dado que el lenguaje es la fuente principal de comunicación con los demás, una persona con déficit visual presentaría dificultad en su lenguaje expresivo como comprensivo, por tal motivo se pone a consideración la aplicación de diferentes estrategias metodológicas. En la primera fase se recolecta la información del historial identificando a un paciente de 2 años, la principal meta es de tratar los problemas de lenguaje.
