La Migración y su Relación con el Consumo de Drogas en la Ciudad de Manta, Año 2024.

Abstract

This paper analyzes migration and drug use, global phenomena with diverse causes such as political, economic, and social conflicts that lead people to seek better living conditions in other countries. The general objective of this research is to determine the level of impact of migration on drug consumption in the city of Manta during the year 2024. The methodology use is quantitative, allowing the collection and analysis of specific data on the phenomenon, based on explanatory research, to clearly understand the variables and correlational research to understand the relationship between them, as well as the deductive method used for the collection of bibliographic data that provide information to the study in question. The main result of the study indicates a significant correlation between the arrival of migrants and the increase in drug consumption in the "Eloy Alfaro" Parish of the city of Manta, which underscores the need to implement comprehensive strategies to address these problems and their effects on the community.
