Abstract

This document is a portfolio that summarizes the process of learning and teaching English as foreign language. Reflects the author's experiences during internships and community service, focusing on the importance of mastering the four main language skills: speaking, listening, reading and write. Throughout the portfolio, different modules and lesson plans are presented that address each one of these skills, using a structured approach based on the analysis of form, meaning and the use (FMU) of the language. The importance of effective teaching is highlighted, emphasizing the need for educators have a solid understanding of grammar and well-founded teaching methodologies. Besides, The portfolio highlights the usefulness of authentic materials and practical strategies to improve both the oral and written comprehension and production. The portfolio also includes reflections on the lessons demonstrations carried out, the challenges encountered and the strategies used to overcome them. Finally,concludes that English proficiency is essential for global accessibility and that a methodical and Reflective teaching can significantly improve students' language skills.
