Caracterización del subsector productor de ladrillo y su impacto en la generación de ingreso de los hogares de la comuna los bajos de Montecristi.

Abstract

The general objective of this degree work is to characterize the brick producing subsector and evaluate its impact on the income generation of households in the communes of Los Bajos the Montecristi, therefore, its methodology was based on the application of two surveys, which were directed to brick producers and the homes of people who work in the brick sector through the head of household. The results obtained were processed using Excel software, these indicated that the brick producing subsector is characterized by being unmotivated and little considered, therefore, there is no control and/or regulation of prices, which generates an impact on their income and this only allows them to meet their daily needs. On the other hand, there are households, where income depends 100% on the activities carried out in the brickyards, therefore, as already mentioned, the profit generated in the brick producing subsector is reduced, which is why the members of the household are see the need to look for other sources of income.
